During the time of the mandated closure for elective procedures, we have taken the time to completely disinfect the office and add some important safety features. Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We would like to share some additional measures we have incorporated to ensure the safety and protection of our patients and staff: A sanitation and screening station upon check-in We have added air purifiers in the reception area and treatment rooms. Additional PPE (personal protective equipment) mandated for staff including N95 masks, face shields, and disposable coverage Temperature check with Non-contact Infrared thermometer State of the art intra-oral high vacuum aerosol reduction devices A thorough screening form which will be available via email and online Hand sanitizer in addition to the existing wall mounted units Sanitizing wipes and sprays We have made changes to our waiting area to accommodate social distancing. Removal of child toys and magazines We are very happy to be able to safely take care of our patients in the 'new norm'.
